My first attempt using the Canon T2i's movie crop mode with my 50-500 Sigma at 500mm on a Tiltall tripod.. I focused using the new focus peak feature of the just-released version of Magic Lantern firmware. For those who aren't aware, the movie crop mode films a 640X480 crop out of the center of a full 1920X1080 frame. That's a 7.2 magnification factor giving effectively a 3600mm focal length.
